The Singing Crusaders Male Chorus has been in existence for over fifty years in the West Michigan area.  The chorus is comprised of over 60 men who come from all walks of life  who are confessing, born-again Christians representing 37 churches and 12 denominations.  There are usually 35-55 men performing at each concert, depending on the memberís personal commitments.  New members are always welcome and are invited to join by coming to any Monday night rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. from September through May.  Rehearsals take place at the Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Road in Kalamazoo.  No audition is required.  Programs are presented approximately every other week through the fall, winter and spring months with various breaks for the holiday season.

There is no charge for the concerts, but monies are received from sponsors, patrons and remunerations from churches where concerts are presented.  Money is also received from our annual Spring Concert for which tickets are sold.  CDís are usually available for purchase following each concert.  Money received from those sales go into a special account to produce new CDís.

Rev. Dr. Daniel N. Gillett directs the chorus and is assisted by Mr. Dave Gillett.  Our instrumentalists are Karen Kortman (piano), Lori Hoekstra (keyboard), Steve DeYoung (bass guitar), Jim Hilbrecht (trumpet) and Brian Youngblood (drums). Our sound technician is Ruth DeYoung.

We thank you for your interest in the chorus.  We look forward to joining you in the praise of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
